About Easy Dad Recipes

The dad, the kitchen, and the point of it all.

Why this site exists

Easy Dad Recipes is run by Dennis, a dad who cooks dinner for his family most nights. He started the site after running into the same two problems every weeknight: there was never enough time to cook, and every recipe page he opened buried the ingredients under a ten-page life story. When it's 6 p.m., the family is hungry, and you're staring into the fridge, you don't need a memoir — you need dinner.

This site is the fix he wanted for himself: the recipe up top, any story kept short, and nothing between you and dinner but the cooking.

How it works

Here, the food comes first. Every recipe page leads with the ingredients, the quick steps, and the per-serving macros — protein front and center, because most of these recipes are built to be high-protein. The focus is one-pot dinners, 30-minute meals, and family-friendly food that busy parents can actually get on the table.

Every recipe is cooked and filmed in Dennis's home kitchen for the Easy Dad Recipes YouTube channel, where daily Shorts show the whole cook in about a minute. The site also publishes a weekly meal plan with a matching grocery list, so dinner gets decided once for the whole week instead of being re-argued every night. And when a recipe is adapted from another creator, that creator is always credited, with a link back to the original video or post.
